§ 01Introduction
This Privacy Policy governs the use of software applications ("Applications") for mobile, desktop, and web platforms created by Modern Logic Tech Solutions ("we", "us", "our") — including Luxebook, BiblioFuse, LokalTools, and future titles. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and applicable international standards.
§ 02Data we collect
- User-provided information. Information you give us directly, such as email address or username when you create an account.
- Automatically collected information. Device data — type, OS, unique device identifiers — for analytics and crash reporting.
- Local-first processing. For LokalTools and other WebAssembly-based utilities, your files are processed inside your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.
- File metadata only. For tools that scan storage, we work with metadata (names, sizes, hashes) locally on your device. We do not upload your personal files.
§ 03How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Create and manage your user account.
- Sync your data and preferences across devices via your own cloud services (iCloud, OneDrive).
- Provide core functionality of the Applications.
- Improve performance, stability, and reliability.
- Send important system notifications (e.g. password resets).
§ 04Third-party services
We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you. Where used, these are linked from inside the relevant Application:
- Apple App Store · Google Play Services · Microsoft Store
- Firebase / Crashlytics (analytics and crash reporting)
- AdMob (in select free, ad-supported tools — never sees your file content)
§ 05Data retention and deletion
We retain user data for as long as you use the Application, and for a reasonable period afterward. You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
To delete your data:
- Use the "Delete Account" feature inside the Application's settings menu, where available; or
- Email support@mlogictech.com with the subject line "Delete Account".
On a verified request, we will permanently delete your account and associated personal data from our servers within 30 days.
